TAMARIS HAIRDRESSING & BEAUTY SCHOOL was established in 1984 and was renamed in 1987 as TAMARIS HAIRDRESSING & BEAUTY SCHOOL (1987). It is then incorporated in year 2010 and now using the name TAMARIS HAIRDRESSING & BEAUTY SCHOOL (1987) Pte Ltd. The school was first located at No. 222 Thomson Road. In 1992, it shifted to 390 Victoria Street, Golden Landmark #02-52 & #02-61. In 1997, the school was expanding rapidly and needed a bigger space in a centralise location. The school was then relocated to its present premises at 11 Stamford Road, #01-11 Capitol Building, Singapore.
 TAMARIS has been in the hairdressing and beauty industry for more than twenty years. We have taught students from different countries all over the world. Most of our graduates have ventured out into the hairdressing and beauty industry as professional hairstylists, beauticians as well as successful owners of both hair and beauty salons.
Our school is equipped with the latest equipment and up to date facilities to cater exclusively to our students for all the courses offered.
Our young Senior Hairstylist/Instructor, Miss Connie Poh, leads our 'TAMARIS YOUTH HAIRSTYLIST TEAM'. She frequently leads the team to perform the latest hair design and make-up for local models at various fashion and hair shows.
In the mid-80's, one of our trainers, Mr. Richard Peh, was awarded the Golden Scissors Award for his outstanding services and continuous dedication to the hairstyling industry.
Our school Management organizes 'Student's Hair Design' competitions every year end and occasionally invites hairdressing and beauty consultants from abroad to our school to give demonstrations of the latest trends and techniques in their profession. This enables our students to gain and absorb practical experience and exposure of the latest techniques from overseas.
